On the thresh­old be­tween town and na­ture

Helsinborg municipality invited Vandkunsten to participate in a competition for the masterplan for the most Eastern part of Laröd, a local district.

Vandkunsten won the competition and assisted the municipality in transforming the masterplan to a local plan. Three developers have since then built a mix of owner-occupied homes and rentals.

Kanthusene (houses on the egde) is Vandkunsten’s contribution. In a curved plan, the row of houses, Kanthusene finishes the new district towards the East and the open landscape.
