Raus Vång
Helsingborg, Sweden
2005 - 2007

Clear geometries and a sense of community

Raus Vång is a neighborhood 6km south of the Swedish town Helsinborg. We were asked by longtime collaborator HSB Nordvästra Skåne to design 32 houses in a very detailed masterplan.

With a highly geometric design and clear use of low walls and materials such as masonry and aluminium, we have added a feeling of intimacy and community to the local street. Focus has been on transition zones between the private homes and the quiet street.

As an invitation to increased contact with the neighbors we left the ground floors very open with large glazed areas.
