Located in the bottom of Horsens Fjord, central Horsens is at severe risk for flooding. Three cross-disiplinary teams have been pre-qualified to the parallel urban planning competitionto propose strategies for the urban development of the town. Central to the brief is the reintroduction of the creek as a recreational and active element in the urban plan and to solve the flooding challenges technically while promoting urban, cultural, and natural qualities of Horsens.

The competition runs in all of 2020 and we are thrilled about the work and the collaboration with Horsens Municipality an the two other teams.
