From all of us at Vandkunsten Architects a big thanks to You – and a fare well to 2020. A memorable year in many ways.

Good collaborations have brought many different projects through in 2020, such as the senior co-housing in Køge Kyst, the reuse stations in Musicon, housing in Oslo that locals have nick named ‘Little Venice’ – further North we delivered the tiny wooden house in Nuuk and a family has moved in.

The online and interactive Materialepyramiden.dk launched to help display ressource use in your construction project in a playful way. A new ‘Self Build’ project with the city of Roskilde was appointed to the ‘Housing Lab’ by the Arts Foundation and Realdania – how can cities better help the private groups of building clients also known as ‘baugruppen’.

Featured in a solo exhibition in Utzon Center we look 50 years back in order to look forward – together. We look forward to a 2021 along with new and old collaborators and clients, friends and colleagues. 2021 features our very first monograph, a book on wood projects, and a solo exhibition at Danish Architecture Center – along with much more!
