At Vandkunsten Architects we wish all friends and collaborators a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
2016 has been filled with exciting assignments and collaborations.
Among the highlights were:
- The transformation of the Constable School wins the Renovation Award (RENOVERprisen 2016)
- We win the urban development plan for the Amager Fælled Kvarter in Ørestad, Copenhagen
- We have been selected to continue the major development plan for Aalborg’s Stigsborg Harborfront
- We win the development plan for housing scheme in Berlin Daumstrasse
- We win the framework competition 5 for the Non-profit housing in AlmenBolig+
We also launched this new website and implemented the new visual identity for Vandkunsten Architects, an exciting process and we are very pleased with the result.
In 2016 the entire office closed for a few days and everybody went on a study strip to Southern Germany and Switzerland. We combined our professional and the social development and studied Baugruppen, urban transformation, renovation, and modern wood technologies and craftmanship.
