Salma has worked at Vandkunsten since 2014 working on a wide range of projects; mostly concerning a sustainable and affordable type of living with the focus on social aspects. One of the highlights is a series of projects using shipping containers to find a desired solution for the current demand for settlement, targeting young families, students, artists, and asylum seekers.
Salma is a graduate from Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, with a MArch degree from AVATAR Laboratory; Advanced Virtual and Technological Architectural Research – an international cross-unit research group that explores a critical mix of culture, aesthetic and social agendas. Her final project focused on the architectural aspect of everyday rhythm. Salma was awarded her bachelor degree from Azad University in Tehran and has been working as design architect in international offices in London and Tehran.
